I just found a great site! You can search for various drugs and whether or not they are safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. I took cold medicine before I knew I was pregnant so I wanted to see if it could be harmful. It's not that likely to cause problems.

Here's the site: http://www.safefetus.com/Search.asp

While it's a great website, I have to add that it doesn't include some over-the-counter things that you can/can't take during pregnancy/breastfeeding. I had to contact one of the lactation consultants at the hospital I delivered at in order to double-check on some things.

Kaopectate is good (the site had no rating)
Cepacol is good as well. (the site had no listing for it)

Both helped me with my tummy issues, and sore/scratchy throats!!
