My 3 year old Elizabeth is a struggle most of the time! Her fave phrase is " Oh I will do that tomorrow". Thus the struggle begins - LOL!! I have tried the electric toothbrushes, cute toothpaste. For now she loves the aspect of rinsing and spitting from cute disposable cups but who knows how long that will last!

Any one with creative ideas in this area??

We brush our teeth with Seda and that seems to help. We all brush together and she gets really excited. Also the toothpaste is grape flavor and I think she really likes the taste so that helps.

I brush with Julian - he likes to see me spit my toothpaste out, and then he wants to try it, too.

Sarah loves brushing her teeth, I am hoping its not a phase! She is constantly saying teeth throughout the day as she wants to brush them.

I usually brush them first then let her have about 2mins with the brush herself, so far that is working fine for us.

You can get some stickers and tell her if she brushes she gets a sticker and when she gets so many she gets a "prize". Or, let her pick out a snack for the next day or small prize if she brushes. It might be bribery but anything til they get old enough to understand the effect it can have on their teeth.
