Anyone have any really good crock pot recipes they'd like to share? I'm always on the lookout for things that are tasty and easy to fix! :)

When I cook, I don't measure (measuring is for baking...), so I'll just give you the amounts of things I throw in.

My sister and I have both made this, and it's quite popular. You can either use hamburger by itself, or use hamburger/ground sausage (you can go as spicy as you want) like we do.

Pasta (we use Barilla small penne or rotini)
1 pound of hamburger and 1/2 pound of ground sausage
2 cans of spaghetti sauce (Ragu garden, and Ragu mushroom)
1 onion
1 can of sliced mushrooms
1 pkg of shredded cheese (we use a mozz. mix)
water

Cook the meat separately. You can either cook the pasta separately, or add the noodles dry. Lightly mix the ingredients (except for the cheese). The key with this crockpot recipe is that you have to add water. Start with 2 cups, if you're adding the dry pasta, or 1/2 cup if you already cooked the pasta. Cover and cook on low heat for 2-3 hours. About the last 10 minutes of cooking time, stir in the cheese and allow to melt in.

I've seen recipes that also call for pepperoni. You can add just about anything you want, to make it tasty.

You definitely want to cook the meat ahead of time, because too much stirring will break up the pasta. Season with your favorite spices! Add a little green tabasco for some kick! We go to 4 family reunions a year, and it's a hit.

Some of my Favorites are:

Cheesy Italian Chicken
2 cans of cream of anything soup (chicken, mushroom, celery)
1 block of softened cream chees
1/2 package (0.7 oz) of 'dry' italian salad dressing mix in crockpot

...layer 4 to 6 'frozen' (fresh does NOT work well) boneless chicken breasts with the above mixture ... cook on low for 8 hours ... high for 6 hours ... serve over rice or noodles ...

CHEESY CROCKPOT CHICKEN
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
salt and pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1 can condensed cheddar cheese soup

Rinse chicken and sprinkle it with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix undiluted soups and pour over chicken in a CrockPot. Cook on low all day (6 to 8 hours). Serve over rice or noodles. Add Frozen Brocoli the last 45 min.

Stove Top Chicken
1 Can(s) (10.75oz) Cream of chicken, OR celery, OR mushroom soup
4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/3 Cup(s) Milk
1 Package(s) Stovetop stuffing mix and seasoning packet
1 2/3 Cup(s) Water Place chicken in slow cooker.

Combine soup and milk. Pour over chicken. Combine stuffing mix, seasoning packet, and water. Spoon over chicken. Cover. Cook on Low 6-8 hours.

Italian Chicken & Potatoes
2 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 Cup(s) Grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
1/2 Cup(s) Italian Salad Dressing
1 Teaspoon(s) Italian seasoning
4 Potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges

Place chicken in bottom of crock pot. Sprinkle with half of the Italian Dressing, spices, and the grated cheese. Put the potatoes on top or around the chicken. Sprinkle with rest of dressing, spices, and cheese. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Crockpot Chicken and Gravy
1/2 Package(s) baby carrots
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 Can(s) cream of chicken soup
1 Package(s) dry onion soup mix
8 potatoes, quartered, with skin on
6 stalks celery, cut in chunks

Place vegetables on bottom of crock pot. Place chicken breasts on top of vegetables. Cover with the cream of chicken soup, undiluted. Sprinkle with dry onion soup mix. Cover and cook all day on low, or 6 hours on high.

Pizza Chicken
2 Medium Bell peppers, cut into strips
5-6 Boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 Small Onion, sliced
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Pepper
1 Package(s) Rotini or other pasta
1/2 Teaspoon(s) Salt
1 Cup(s) Shredded mozzarella cheese
1 Jar Spaghetti sauce

1. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Place chicken in slow cooker. Top with onion and bell peppers. Add Spaghettis sauce. 2. Cover and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours or until juice of chicken is no longer pink. 3. Cook and drain pasta. I placed the mozzarella on the chicken while cooking pasta but we served from the crock pot. If you want to serve it nicer, place pasta in platter, top with chicken an sauce, sprinkle with cheese.

Golden Chicken with Noodles
2 cans Campbell's Cream of Chicken
½ Cup of Water

1 tbsp. Dijon Mustard
1 ½ tsp. Garlic Powder
8 Large Carrots, Thickly Sliced
8 Boneless Chicken Breast Halves
8 Cups Hot Cooked Egg Noodles

Mix soup, water, lemon juice, mustard, garlic and carrots in slow cooker. Add Chicken and turn to coat.

Cover and cook on low 7 to 8 hr. or until done.

Serve over noodles.
