:rattle: Amongst the chap stick, nightgown and socks- what is the one special thing we would find in your hospital bag if we were to look into it? :duckie:

For both my children's births I packed in my hospital bag my baby blanket that my grandmother had saved for me. On the day that I brought Elizabeth and most recently Joshua home, I wrapped them up in it. I plan on passing it on to my first grandbaby when that time comes way way into the future! LOL!!! :babyha:

In addition to various things for me (toiletries, clothes) there's a few outfits for #2 since who knows what the weather will be like when we bring the baby home. Also, we have a gift from the new baby to give to Libby, which is a stuffed Eeyore (from Winnie the Pooh) since she already loves her Pooh and Tigger stuffed friends.

It's not even a suitcase that I have...it's a backpack. (Rich and I refer to it as "the football" which is supposedly the nickname for the atomic-bomb briefcase that's always with the President) "the football" goes with me to work, but is always at the ready on the kitchen table!
