Check out http://www.cosmeticdatabase.com, which lists bath products and how hazardous they are (on a scale from 1 to 10). It's from the Environmental Health Group, who monitors the components in products that aren't monitored by the US FDA.

In the article I was reading that had the link to this site, there is a chemical (1,4-dioxane) which is listed by the Environmental Protection Agency as a "probably human carcinogen" and should be avoided in children's bath products.
