If you had the opportunity to stay home with your children, would you? :) (Please note: this is not asking for a debate of the merits of one choice versus another, this is just asking that if staying home were feasible for you, would you choose to do that.)

I said I'd stay home but work part-time. I think I would like to have the chance to stay home if I'm ever in a situation where that's feasible. But I don't want to let go of my law licenses, and I'm so used to being the provider financially that if I were ever to end up with a man who makes enough that I could afford to stay home, I don't want to put myself in a position where I'm completely financially dependent on him. I always want some independent resources available to me - I didn't expect Kevin and I would ever split up, and if I'd been completely financially dependent on him, it would have been a whole lot worse for me than it has been.

I would love to be at home full time with my children! I am a home body and not a huge people person so I do not need to be around people 24/7.
Staying home full time is my big dream! Then when Elizabeth starts school I would be volunteering and PTA and all of that wonderful stuff!
