How many do you have, and what's your favorite?

I'm a cookbook-a-holic! Favorites that I use regularly are my little $1.00 recipe collections from Pampered Chef, my Bisquick cookbook, and my old Betty Crocker cookbook. Favorites to read through are my two cookbooks by Stephan Pyles, formerly the owner of Star Canyon here in Dallas (now gone, sad to say :blue: ) - he always has such interesting combinations of ingredients. I'm not sure I'd ever make half of the recipes in them, but they're fun to read.

I love cookbooks. Actually my favourite one is the one DH got when he was a bachelor, called 'Cooking for blokes' Its so simple its brilliant!

My own personal favourite is 'Nigella Lawson, 'Nigella Bites' There is a lot of dish variations in there from simple tradional dishes to far out dishes. In fact she taught me how to make Elvis Presley's favourite snack. Fired Banana and Peanut butter toasted sandwich. Curbed my early craving attacks!

I've looked at some of her cookbooks, Cat - I've always thought they sounded like I'd like them, but I've never had money to spare when I found them. Next time I see one, I may have to check it out!

I easily have over 25 cookbooks. Most of them were my grandma's and I took them when she passed away. My favorite is Paula Deen's Lady and Son's cookbook. Although, I use recipes out of almost all of them.
