Was it your decision, or was it DH/SO's initial urging to TTC? Or was it something that was mutual (ie let's TTC on the honeymoon)? Did it take a bit for one of you to come around to agreeing to TTC?
It was a mutal decision the first time. When TTC DD, it was on honeymoon we decided. We had been together 6yrs as a couple so we thought it was a great time to start.
This time, DH was the one urging for it, I had a lot of persuading since I have a toddler already, but he brought up a lot of benefits to having two 2.5yrs apart I would have waited a couple of more years, also the fact I didnt have a good pregnancy or birth was off putting, but the joys you get far outweigh the rest :)

The twins were a mutual decision for sure! DH is more solid about having another child. I'm waffling a bit because I'm taking care of 2 toddlers everyday and my pregnancy wasn't a good experience for me. Some days I think, gosh, it would be so nice to have another little one. Then other days, I'm like --no more kids! I just wish I had more time because I'm not getting any younger....

It was both our decisions. Our doctor gave us the green light, so we jumped on it! We've always have wanted children.

Mutual decision, although I had been thinking about it for some time before DH brought it up.

It was both of our decisions right from the words "I DO" .

It was sort of a mutual decision, I guess. We'd gone back and forth for a while where one thought TTC was a good idea and the other didn't, and then we'd flip-flop. Finally, though, it reached a point where no one was in school, no one had lost a job, there was no big reason *not* to try, so we did!
And there will be no more - I am DONE. :) I'm not in a relationship conducive to having children right now, I'm not getting any younger, and I just don't have the energy to keep up with another one.

Well ours was either we have one now or we never will. It was medical based decision, but the best one. The odds of us having a baby were almost nil. We got lucky and got pregnant with Caden on our first try with an IUI
However now we are both going back and forth on having another one. I think I amstarting ot want one even more, but now we are in a money issue, since we have to start paying on student loans soon and mine are still building
