Surgery complications?

Has the surgery you've undergone hindered your changes of getting pregnant? Did it make TTC easier, or harder?

Should I ever decide to get pregnant again, my surgery shouldn't interfere with it. I asked my doctor what would happen if I needed a c-section, and he said it shouldn't be an issue - the lap-band is in my upper abdomen, and a c-section would involve my lower abdomen. Theoretically, losing weight could make it easier for me to get pregnant, if my weight was part of the reason I had trouble getting pregnant the first time (although I'm not 100% convinced that it was - I think I'm just hormonally screwed :lol: ). So should I ever decide to have another child, we'll find out!
