How do you organize your day? How necessary do you find it to stick to a fairly strict schedule?

We don't really have what I call a schedule, but things are generally predictable.
The kids are up around 7am these days (it used to be 8am :sigh: ) and they drink milk and play for about an hour. Then they eat breakfast and play some more.
Around 1030 or 11am they usually go down for a nap. That lasts about 1 hour, sometimes longer. They get up and play a bit and then have lunch.
They play more and then around 230 or 3pm they take another nap.
Around 530pm they eat dinner and after that it's brief play time followed by changing into pjs and milk and then to bed around 7pm.
But I'm not a stickler for the times. On Sundays they don't nap until noon because we are in church from 10-1130am. If we have a playdate then I work around that. The past couple of nights we've been out running errands so dinner has been more like 6 or 630pm and bedtime more like 830pm. We try to be flexible but I follow their cues too. If they are exhausted by 9am then they nap then. They might end up taking 3 naps in a day if they wake up really early. Some days they stay up until noon and then they might only nap once but will nap longer. Just go with the flow!

I never did schedules with the twins, contrary to what everyone told me to do. Worked for me :)

Ditto here too. They pretty much set their own predictable pattern, nothing that I forced or anything.
