They say we're marrying at ages older than our parents' generation...so I guess that generally means we're TTC'ing at a later age as well. But on an individual level, are you TTC'ing at a younger age or older age than your mom?
For me, it would be older, because Mom was 27 when she had my older sister (I'm 30).
If you're younger than Mom - do you get pressure from her about "being too young", and vice versa, if you're older ("why are you waiting?!?")?

You know, I don't really know. My mother got married when she was 21, and I'm not exactly sure when she and my dad started trying. I do know they tried for something like 15 years before adopting me, and my mother was 37 when they brought me home. So I was younger when I had Julian (34) than she was when they adopted me, but not by much.
And my mother passed away right after I got married, so she never had a chance to ask one way or the other. I know my dad never said a word about wanting grandchildren - surprising when you think about me being an only child, but not surprising if you knew how much he disliked Kevin!

Much older. My Mom had me when she was 16 and was done having kids when she was 23-25 or something like that.
I had my first one at 32 & the 2nd one at 35.

Older! My mom had me at 19 and had 4 kids by the time she was 26. I had my first at 26 and then the twins at 30.

I was Older than what my Mom was when she got pregnant, she was 18 when she had me. I started really trying in my late 20's!
Older for me! My mum was married on her 21st birthday and had me at 23. I got married at 28 and started TTC soon after.
