So...what is it? What's in your CD player now?


I'm hooked on some older stuff that I listened to as a teenager (Garbage and Rob Zombie) but I'm also listening to some newer stuff like The Killers. Then of course, there's the old favorite - Pearl Jam.

Tonight's selections: Devo's Greatest Hits and a fun little group called Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. They're a punk band that does covers of various songs - this particular album, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes Are A Drag, is covers of show tunes. Absolutely a riot! :)

The recent rotation includes Nightwish (a very groovy goth rock band), Opeth (a Swedish rock band, most of whose albums have those nasty growly lyrics where it sounds like the singer has got to be hurting himself, but their album Damnation is really very good), Morcheeba (I'm not even sure how to classify them, but I love 'em!), and some of my homemade compilation CD's.
