Surely we've got some positive things that have come from finding ourselves single parents - please share! :)

Hi Lisa! While I'm not technically a single parent yet, as long as Ron is still living here, I've been pretty much doing it by myself since Sydney was born.

I love the connection between Sydney and I -- I wouldn't say it is more intense than a child with a mother who is not single, but .... it's special. Like "you and me against the world" sort of unity.

Lori, I know exactly what you mean. Julian likes daddy, but given a choice, he prefers mama. :) This kind of goes along with that - I like that I know what Julian's favorite stories are, what he means when he says different things (i.e., which book or which video or which favorite thing he's talking about), that I know all about what goes on at daycare (like the fact that he has two girlfriends  ). Kevin does, to some extent, but not as much as I do, simply because I spend more time with Julian. And yeah, it's tiring sometimes, but I wouldn't trade it.
