If you are like my house all the worry is on what to send the children for lunch but what about mom and dad? What do you do for lunch for you? What are some of your favorite inexpensive lunches that you take to work? Or maybe some healthy snacks to help you get through the day!! Please share your ideas here!

This is a good topic around our house lately, because Rich is trying to lose some weight (and I will be on that same track once I'm working on loosing baby weight).
snacks:
*sunflower seeds (low or no salt)
*apples with natural peanut butter (creamy Skippy peanut butter doesn't have to be stirred)
*low salt pretzels
(any fruit is good, but the peanut butter is better to satisfy your hunger)
lunches:
It really depends on how your lunch comes. I wouldn't recommend anything you can microwave (even if it's "healthy") because of the salt content and all the crap they put into the food to preserve it. Just look at your labels and see what's inside the bag/package that you're eating.
We don't buy anything now with "high fructose corn syrup" listed, and that goes for breads. Some labels are really surprising, and you'll soon find out what works for you. Even with the foods in packaging that says "All Natural" or "Organic", you still should read those labels.
