Do you eat as a family every night? At the Table?

AS for Me and Randy we try to do this everynight, That is if he is not working late, if he works late, then he eats alone.LOL

We do eat together every night at the table! It's been one of our special things and unless he's out of town or has a function to go to, we are going to keep this up. Our time to play catch up with one another...kwim?

Unfortunately no :mope: DH works until 7pm, usually the kids get there evening meal at 5:30pm. I always sit at the table with them and have a cup of tea and chat to Sarah about her day at nursery.

Saturdays the kids again have their meals seperately from us, as we always get an Indian takeout and chill out together.

Sundays, I always make a roast beef meal and we all sit at the table together then :)

Rich and I eat together, and hope to keep it up once kids are old enough to eat at the table with us. It's how he was raised, and how I grew up as well, that you eat together if everyone is able to. I know it's harder when there's kids in sports games after school, or when a spouse works later in the evening. But the effort is all that matters.

Once we get the table cleaned off (right now it's covered with Bright Blessings inventory :lol: ), yes, we will eat at the table together every night (or as many nights as possible). We do all eat together now, we're just using TV trays in the living room.

We do :nod: Every once in awhile there might be something going on that makes it impossible but we try our best to keep this tradition going.

We try to, but since my WL surgery I don't eat much at one sitting, so it's hard for me to sit there while Chris and Joshua finish up because I'll still try to eat if I stay at the table.
