How was your eating changed?

Since diets have to be changed after weight loss surgery, how will that affect you and your (upcoming) pregnancy? Was/Is there concern over the proper amount of nurishment & nutrients getting to the baby?

I'm not TTC, but should I ever, all the fluid can be taken out of my band so that I can eat enough to get sufficient nutrients for me and the baby. That's the beauty of the band - as a rule, there are no specific foods I have to give up completely, I just eat a lot less. (Well, I do when I've had a fill and have the band properly adjusted.) Take the fluid out of the band, and it's just about like nothing is in there, so I'd be able to eat more and get enough nutrition.
