What good things happened to you this year? As 2006 comes to a close, what memorable events occurred that put a smile on your face?

Since it was such a big year for me for big life-changing events (what a year!), once you knock out those big events, it would be our trip to the Smoky mountains in TN that really was something else. I can't wait to get back down there and do some more hiking, because I'll never forget those trails. These days when I don't get out as much as I'd like to, it's good to have memories like these to replay in my head.

Doing the work that we did on the house put a very, very good feeling inside of me. It makes me look forward to 2007 and to more house renovations! We'll be hitting those hardware stores like crazy once spring rolls around.

The most recent great thing that has happened is Jenna and Jonathan starting Pre-School. I was so anxious about sending them, but they ABSOLUTELY LOVE it and so do I. They are going two days a week to church preschool. It is a loving and nurturing environment and their teacher is absolutely fabulous! I am so encouraged about how wonderful this is for them, that I am considering adding a day next year. :)

I am so thankful to find a place where my children are so well taken care of, and where I feel comfortable sending them. This is a big step for me.

Other than that was my surprise 40th birthday trip to Las Vegas that my husband planned for me! That was awesome!!! :D

My grandmother's life was spared. That is probably the biggest thing.

Um.... My divorce was final? Seriously, 2006 has been a lean year in terms of good things. I'm certainly hoping 2007 is better.
