View Full Version : bottles
We use the playtex with the vent in the bottom. We really like them and boys can drink a bottle a lot faster out of these the the bag bottles and they are a good price and easy to clean.

I just use the "plain old fashioned" ones, I hate to use the plastic liner (environment) and I never have to worry about running out of liners, you just have to rinse them within a reasonable amount of time and buy a bottle brush. They are also the most economical.

We used Avent. I BFd but when I pumped that's what we used.

We started out using the Avent, but my children didn't like the wide nipple. We've since used just the plain, old fashioned Gerber bottles and other similar bottles. It's really been very okay for us. When we travel, I use the Playtex disposals, and have to get the children used to the nipples about a day or so in advance. I also take a couple of their skinny bottles just in case.

Kalynn used the Playtex disposables..And it had to be that flat top nipple, she was so darn picky!

Tyler uses the Playtex Disposables with the Round Top Nipple (Medium Flow).

(I'll just use Andrea as my example, since she was the most recent. :) )
We mostly used the Playtex disposable xystem for Andrea since she was nursing. I was using the sealable Gerber bags to store BM in for when we went out. I found them very easy to use, and she had no problem with the nipples. She liked the clear silicon ones.

We use Avent and Dr. Brown bottles. My kids are NOT picky about bottles at all which is nice, but these are the two I asked for and got and therefore use! We used the Dr. Brown ones only in the beginning because my twins needed the preemie flow nipple (yep, even slower than the slow!) and I couldn't find them for the Avent bottles.

We used Avent - started out with them and never had any problem, so that's what we stuck with.
