I'm thinking of Sesame Street 1st Birthday as the theme for my twins first birthday coming up in July. I've been trying to figure out what to do for party favors for kids of varying ages. I was at a Moms of Multiples meeting tonight and someone mentioned that she went to a Finding Nemo themed party. The party favors there were personalized place mats--the child's name was written on the card, there was a Finding Nemo character, and then the whole thing was laminated. Isn't that cool? I thought to myself, how creative is that?
Anyway, I realized that I wasn't thinking outside the box, so I'm going to try and do that form here on.
I was just wondering if anyone else out there had any other creative ideas I could consider?

Hmmmmmmm... we also did Sesame Street last year for Garrett's party, but we were not creative at all. We just did the traditional gift bags, etc. I'll think for you...

We are doing the Winnie the Pooh 1st Birthday Theme. I really like the decorations that go with the set because they are bright primary colors so we can also mix some solid color balloons and table clothes in.
We are just going to do a couple of gift bags because we wont have alot of children coming. Tyler is the Baby of the Family.

How old are the kids that will be there? If they are old enough, you could always do a "craft" time at the party. For example, I was at a toy store, and saw these kits to make their own plate. :) In the end, it's food safe, and they could personalize it any way they wanted. OR, you could make them in advance and personalize for each child. :)
We also did the traditional "goodie bags" and I just geared them toward each age, so they were not all the same. :)

I'm not much help - Julian's first party didn't really have a theme, just "1st birthday boy". :)

 We were the same for Sarah's birthday, but it was 1st birthday girl ;)
Although I think I might do a themed party for Jamie, but we have a good few months to think about it :D
