Kalynn is 20 months old. We had a GREAT schedule. She'd get up at 8am, take a nap at 10:30am, wake up at 1:00pm, eat lunch, eat dinner at 5pm, and then bed tim at 7pm...

Then the time change..Her wake up time stayed the same, but her bedtime got pushed up an hour, which wasn't a big deal.

On the other hand, her naps are weird! The days are never the same. For instance, yesterday, she slept at her regular time, then today she didn't go to sleep until 2:30pm! Should I try to get her on a consistent nap schedule, or should I just go by when she's tired? Could it have to do with the time change?

TIA!

Mine are just 8 months old, but I was at a Moms of multiples meeting tonight and the consensus with the moms was that yes, by all means, get them back on a nap schedule ASAP. :) That being said, it's not always easy. I have been spoiled in that Jonathan and Jenna were really good about napping 3x a day and then going to bed right away. Now that they're older and more mobile, I have to plan an extra half hour just for them to wind down.

As for the time change, I'm not sure how much that affected us. :dunno:

Well, I think I found the culprit...I feel stupid for not even thinking about it..Lately, she's been wanting to bring all these toys with her at her nap time. The other day, she wanted to bring her toy tea pot! She brings books, dolls, or whatever she can grab. I found her the other day "reading" to Elmo  So, I took out all of her toys except one or two, to see if that worked today. Sure enough, she was alseep within a few minutes!

So, hopefully, this will be a continuing trend!
