Do you kind of wing it, or do you have to follow a recipe?
I guess I used to follow a recipe. I'm a product of being in 4-H clubs (livestock and cooking/sewing). When you're a kid, I guess the best thing is to follow a recipe. But then I went through a phase where I would try out all different types of seasonings/spices. I cook more by taste, and will just try different things. Usually, it would be something I would eat in a restaurant, and I would think "Yeah, I could make that myself!", and I would try a few times and I actually do it.
Baking is the only thing that I really follow recipes.
